Everyone is welcome.*
Even with substantial investment in environmental protection over the past five years and some success stories, environmental conditions continue to worsen in China. Senior officials and citizens alike describe the situation as grave. Transformative change must take place in the relationship of environment and economic growth. The most critical shifts must be accomplished in the coming 5 to 10 years, an unprecedented and globally significant challenge. What are China's chances of success? And why is this success important for Canadians?
