昨晚发现Basement 的一块玻璃裂了一条缝. 这是一年半老的房子.Builder 还管吗? 如果自己修, 是只要换块玻璃还是整个窗户? 什么公司修这个?

do you know the cause of that crack? any foundation settling down sign caused the window frame shape change and cracked the window? or just some sharp object broke the window?
check with TARION web site for what's covered by them/builder for the 2nd year.

I do not know the cause of that crack. I guess that it may caused by the temperature and the defect of the glass of the window. I will check the web site of Tarion.



What are the signs that indicate my house is setting down?

窗户本身应该保修，但是不包括换窗。当然新房可能包括包括更多。

此外，换个小窗应该在800-1000左右

Contact builder and find the window glass provider. Normally replacing a glass is less than $200, if warantee is expired

Contact the provider of the windows. Usually they have 10-20 years warranty.
