Cars with the Largest Hidden Rebates

Hidden rebates, also known as dealer cash, are rebates given to dealers by the manufacturer to help sell slow-moving models.

You might be wondering why manufacturers don't just give the rebate directly to the consumer. It's because hidden rebates allow manufacturers to discount their vehicles without "cheapening" the product.

This is why most luxury car makers tend to offer hidden rebates in lieu of customer cash back.

The largest hidden rebates can be as much as $9,000 - as is the case with the 2011 Cadillac STS - but most range between $500 and $3,000.

Dealers are not obligated to pass the rebates to the consumer, but if you follow our car negotiation method, or use the free CarWoo service, the hidden rebates will likely be passed through to you in the form of a lower purchase price.

Lexus, in particular, has increased their hidden rebates this month. The 2011 Lexus LX 570 now has a $3,000 hidden rebate, up 200% compared to last month. The 2011 GS 450h, IS 250C, and IS F all come with $2,000 in hidden rebates - up 100% since last month.

Here is a list of the largest hidden rebates currently being offered. Most are for leftover 2011 models.

  • 2011 Chevrolet Impala - $5,000
  • 2011 Chrysler 300 - $5,000
  • 2011 Chevrolet HHR - $4,000
  • 2011 Dodge Durango - $4,000
  • 2011 Range Rover - $4,000
  • 2012 Chevrolet Impala - $4,000
  • 2011 Chrysler 200 - $4,000
  • 2011 Dodge Nitro - $3,000
  • 2011 Jeep Compass - $3,000
  • 2011 Land Rover LR2 - $3,000
  • 2011 Lexus LS 460 - $3,000
如果你想买个七座的中档以上的SUV,关注一下Dodge Durango。这个消息虽然是引用自一个美国网站,但对加拿大市场是适用的。

大概看了一下,基本上加拿大市场也适用,只是不同model,产销量不同,incentive 也不同 STS 加拿大一年也卖不了几辆,本身配额就没多少,所以只有7500的现金折扣,没有9000,而DTS现在加拿大存货比很大,所以现金折扣比美国还多



基本上都是卖不动的或者要该款的车型,而且并不是hidden rebate,建议大家做足功课购买

路顺客气了。Dodge Durango去年我就盯着它想买,无奈始终没啥折扣,而且它的Citadel税后卖得和X5,Q7一个价,心有不甘,忍下没买。现在这里2011年的没剩下几辆了,应该可以拿到很好的价格,建议去看看。
