Warrants and rights offer the holders the right to purchase stocks at a predifined price for a certain period of time. Warrants have longer life than rights. Both may be traded like stocks. Before purchasing them, you got to know the strike (stock purchase) price and duration of life. When expired, their value is 0.

To exercise your warrants, call your broker and tell them you want to exercise the warrants. Hope you know the exercise (strike) price and ratio (as some warrants can be converted into either more than one or less than one share).
