City of Ottawa committee says viva to Pub Italia’s Preston Street patio

OTTAWA — Pub Italia’s busy summer patio should be allowed to stay the same, says council’s transportation committee. The committee also wants city staff to review original plans for the Preston Street reconstruction project and assess whether trees and infrastructure were placed in the wrong location outside the pub, causing the patio to be at odds with Ottawa’s encroachment bylaw.
