Flu season swamps CHEO

OTTAWA — The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario is in the middle of the busiest viral season in its 38-year history. CHEO’s emergency department is seeing 15 per cent more patients than last year and one-third more than the previous year, mainly due to high rates of respiratory and viral infections.
