Parking, noise, drug use topped NCC’s Occupy Ottawa complaints

Noise, illegal parking, drug use and disputes were among complaints and issues handled by National Capital Commission conservation officers during the two-month Occupy Ottawa protest at Confederation Park. Occurrence reports and observations filed by officers also indicate they received requests for protesters’ tents to be moved away from the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument, along Elgin Street.
