LF: Service of converting MiniDV --> VCD/DVD

Just ask a question for one of my friends who has Digital Camcorder, but he
doesn't have budget to buy related PC hardware/software to create VCD/DVD.

He is asking where in Ottawa can find the service to retrieve MiniDV tape,
and process then make VCD/DVD?

How much will that cost?

I don't think he need a big budget to buy related PC hardware to create VCD unless his computer is older than PIII, though DVD maybe difficult. The adapter card 1394 is only within 100 bucks. The software may come with the digital camcorder already, or 可以网上找。
