New police chief to be named; Bordeleau the leading candidate

OTTAWA - A new police chief will be introduced Friday afternoon. It is expected that Deputy Chief Charles “Chuck” Bordeleau will be announced. The winning candidate will be formally introduced by the Ottawa Police Services Board at a 3:30 p.m. press conference at Ottawa Police Headquarters on Elgin Street.
