Chantale LeClerc, a 41-year-old former nurse who has been acting as Eastern Ontario’s health chief for the past six months, has been appointed permanently to the job. LeClerc becomes the Champlain Local Health Integration Network’s third chief executive since the regional health board was established in 2006.
