Photos: 'Temporary Building' Era Ends

On Monday, March 5, 2012 workers were demolishing what is believed to be the last of the 'Temporary Buildings' that were constructed during the Second World War and in the post-war years to provide office space for federal and military workers. Most of these buildings were demolished once the permanent buildings were completed. This gallery features photos from Monday's demolition as well as archival photos of the 'Temporary Buildings' that were once located around Ottawa.
