Barrhaven’s Cambrian Road should be widened this year, say city staff

OTTAWA — A $3.5-million project to widen Cambrian Road in Barrhaven South should be done this year to meet the needs of the rapidly-developing area, city staff say. A stretch of Cambrian Road between Greenbank and Jockvale roads is currently two lanes, with a poor surface and deep ditches along both sides, staff say in a report to go Tuesday to council’s planning committee.
