according to the new policy in bufflo, it is very possible. This new policy is in effect from March 2003. If you are undergraduate student, you can avoid this by going to Laura Cohen(International studnet advisor if you are in Carleton U) ask for a support letter, which i believe is the so called "zhu liu jia na da zheng ming" or something similar. If you are graduate student and have a good transcript, you are fine and do not need this support letter.

After finishing the extension of Study Permit,i need to do that Temporary Resident Visa as well because i want to go back to China after summer semester.
