This 3-hour seminar will cover the liability issues, responsibilities of different roles, share capital, taxation and registration for the business structures of:

Speaker’s bio:
Louis Benoit practices in the Business Law Group of Low Murchison Radnoff LLP and has worked with both one of the largest firms in Canada and as in-house counsel to a large post-secondary educational institution. Fluently bilingual, Louis provides his legal services in both French and English. He specializes in the preparation and negotiation of commercial agreements including licenses, service agreements, development agreements, non-disclosure / confidentiality agreements, joint ventures and teaming agreements. In addition, Louis advises clients on company formations and administration, commercial leasing, construction and privacy law issues
Louis has expertise in regulatory compliance and commercial issues relating to e-commerce, direct selling, and consumer protection. He also provides advice to not-for-profit and charitable organizations on corporate governance matters. Louis has acted for a wide range of clients from start-ups and established private companies, to educational institutions, government agencies and public sector organizations
