Let’s celebrate Ottawa museums!
In conjunction with International Museum Day on May 18, and as part of May is Museum Month in Ontario, the City is celebrating Ottawa museums by hosting its second annual Museum Day event and reception.
The Mayor and Council, in partnership with the Ontario Museum Association and Ottawa's local museums invite the public to attend Museums Day Proclamation Ceremony and Reception, celebrating May is Museum Month. The event will take place Friday, May 16, at noon at Jean Pigott Place, City Hall.
Ottawa's local and national museums and historic sites offer a wealth of activities, special exhibitions and discount prices for Victoria Day weekend.
