Directbuy Ottawa closure won’t affect members, firm says

Ottawa’s Directbuy store went out of business unexpectedly Tuesday, surprising its members. But the company’s corporate head office says the very expensive memberships purchased by the customers of the Ottawa franchise store will not be jeopardized and that they expect the development will be only a short “blip.”
