Diefenbunker, Rideau Canal among novel venues for Music and Beyond 2012

OTTAWA — At this year’s Music and Beyond festival, you can hear music from the Cold War era performed at the Diefenbunker, or watch as Handel’s Water Music glides past you, performed by musicians on a boat along the Rideau Canal. You can hear an orchestra perform all four Brahms symphonies in one evening, and sip beer or wine as a DJ re-mixes the music after the show. Who said classical music lovers can’t get down?
