OLG head Paul Godfrey backs casino in downtown Ottawa

A new casino in Ottawa should be “where the people are” and be part of a “multi-purpose entertainment centre,” Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., chair Paul Godfrey said during a speech at City Hall Thursday morning. He also said the OLG’s research suggests there’s enough business for both Casino du Lac-Leamy in Hull and a new one on the Ontario side of the Ottawa River.
