EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Bridlewood Child Learning Centre
Requires an Experienced Cook
Position to commence on Monday, June 18th, 2012.
Minimum Qualifications: A diploma in Cook Training from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent
And
A current St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid Certificate and CPR training
And
A minimum of one year experience cooking in an Early Childhood Education setting would be an asset
And
A valid driver’s license.
The ability to smoothly manage a kitchen which serves 63 children (toddlers and preschoolers) following Canada’s Food Guide, the City of Ottawa Health Department regulations and the Day Nurseries Act. You must be highly organized and attentive to detail in planning healthy menus, conducting all related shopping and implementing the menus. Housekeeping duties are a part of your daily responsibilities. Knowledge of W.H.I.M.I.S. is essential. A negative criminal records check is also essential.
