Hoedown facing more woes after artist withdraws

Capital Hoedown organizers may have finally made the last — and overdue — payment of $150,000 to the City of Ottawa on Thursday, but that doesn’t mean the country concert is in the clear yet. The outdoor music festival, scheduled to run from Aug. 10-12 at Walter Baker Park in Kanata, has had one of its main acts pull out of the lineup, reports a country music blog.
