Don’t touch the turtles!

This week’s rain has jump-started the nesting season for turtles, and bystanders are being asked not to “help” turtles by lifting them up and moving them. Dan Brunton, who lives near Mud Lake, saw one snapper and two painted turtles after Tuesday’s thunderstorm had passed through. The animals were oblivious to a nearby soccer game.
