The Canada Science and Technology Museum hosted a free star-gazing session Tuesday evening where hundreds watched Venus pass in front of the sun, a rare eclipse that won’t happen again until 2117. The Helen Sawyer Hogg Observatory, the white dome by the front entrance of the museum, pointed the country’s largest refraction telescope at the sun, and projected the eclipse on a screen for all to see.
