Welcome to the Britannia Yacht Club, which this year celebrates its 125th birthday. With its four tennis courts, tree-shaded lawns and boat harbour, it is an oasis of civility, particularly after the noise of traffic along Richmond Road and its ticky-tacky strip malls, car dealerships and fast-food joints.
