UNISONG, a patriotic choral festival created by Lois and Don Harper, is in its 16th year. This year 13 choirs from a variety of provinces will be in Ottawa as a proud national representatives of their cities, regions and provinces at the UNISONG Canada Day Concert, 10 a.m. July 1st in Southam Hall at the NAC. Over the years, UNISONG has brought more than 191 groups, over 5000 singers, to our Nation’s Capital.
The best chance to hear some of these choirs individually is on Friday night, at either Rideau Park, or Parkdale. Then of course the main Unisong Concert at 10 am on Canada Day in the air-conditioned NAC.
All concerts are FREE! PLEASE forward this around to your choral friends so these choirs have an appreciative crowd to sing to!
