Act of vandalism in Kanata meets with show of unity

Four Canadians, who are complete strangers to one another, have come together from across the country to offer a $3,250 reward to find the vandal of a Kanata memorial dedicated to Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan. A four-foot-tall Inukshuk memorial erected by the parents of Sgt. Marc Léger, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2002, was knocked over Wednesday night in front of the Royal Canadian Legion’s headquarters in Kanata, causing damage to the Inukshuk and leaving scratches on the plaque.
