Cornwall officer cleared of blame in man’s plunge from parking garage

No criminal charges will be laid against a police officer who saw a man fall to his death from a Cornwall mall parking garage, the Special Investigations Unit has concluded. The investigation began after Cornwall police responded to a call May 23 that a man at the Cornwall Square Mall was behaving in a suspicious manner. Shortly thereafter the 64-year-old man fell to his death from the parking garage’s third floor.
