Beechwood condo gets unanimous approval by planning committee

OTTAWA — A new condominium on Beechwood Avenue will be very visible from nearby Beechwood Cemetery, either making a lovely frame for the view of Parliament Hill or intruding upon it with a thick black tower, depending on your taste. City council’s planning committee sees it as a frame, and said so with a unanimous vote Tuesday morning.
