Thieves crash car through doors of Embrun food bank, steal ‘large amount of food’

OTTAWA — A “large amount of food” was stolen from the Good Neighbours Food Bank in Embrun after a vehicle smashed into the building’s rear doors, according to police. The Ontario Provincial Police in Russell Country believe the thieves entered through the back sometime between 10 p.m. on July 23 and 8:45 a.m. the next morning.
