Dear International Students and newcomers to Canada
You are invited to join us for an afternoon of CANOEING and swimming and volleyball at Moonies Bay in Ottawa.
Saturday August 18th from 2:00PM to 8:00PM
A picnic supper will be provided
Cost is 5.00$ for the afternoon
Come and bring your friends
Transportation will NOT be provided from the Universities for this event.
Bus 87 going south will stop at the entrance to the Park and the beach.
Look for us to the right of the beach as you enter the park. We will have a sign ‘International Students’ so you can find us. Sign in when you arrive.
There will be a changing room, if you plan to swim, and there are public washrooms in the park.
ALL students MUST have medical insurance, and sign a waiver for this activity.
A form will be sent to you when you register by e-mail. Please print it out and bring it with you. We cannot allow you to go canoeing if you do not have the completed form.

We offer friendship to International students of all faiths and nationalities.
The activities we offer will help you to make new friends and introduce you to activities which are part of our Canadian culture.
