Exposure to unknown ‘gas’ at water park sends 13 children to CHEO

The waves at Calypso Waterpark “were going full blast” when Nick Beaudoin and his two young nephews were “hit with a gas” that made them cough and gag Tuesday afternoon. Beaudoin’s nephews, aged six and eight, were among 13 children transported from the park to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario because of sore throats, runny eyes, nausea and vomiting after inhaling the invisible substance.
