City sues consultants for $3.2 million over Kanata water main construction

A pair of consultants failed to identify “excessive” groundwater that caused delays and extra costs when a large water main was built to Kanata, the city claims. The city is seeking a total of about $3.2 million from Delcan Corporation and Paterson Group Inc., according to a statement of claim filed to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
