Don’t block streets, Gatineau police warn fireworks fans

Police in Gatineau are warning motorists seeking vantage points from which to view the Casino du Lac-Leamy fireworks show not to block traffic. The advisory follows a collision just before midnight Wednesday that sent a 18-year-old woman to hospital with minor injuries after her vehicle struck a car stopped on Terrest Road near St. Amour Road to see the Sound of Light display.
