When 19-year-old Chelsea Gray signed up to participate in the Kayaking for Cancer fundraiser, she hoped the money raised would help her father as he underwent cancer treatment. Perhaps her father would even be strong enough to cheer her on from the shoreline, as she kayaked along the Rideau Canal.
