【急】询问各位车友 如果新车刚签合同 但不满意 能在一周内取消合同吗?

大家好!
这周六,到Donnelly Ford去看车,试驾的时候,在倒车时不小心碰到了一点尾部,然后我和妻子下来看了,就是塑料碰了一点,然后,觉得不好意思,就决定买下,结果加下来费用将近3万加元(含税,维修费2500,防锈1299),车是Escape 2.5L FWD, 也就是最基本款Ford SUV,颜色是灰色,不是特别满意,付了1000加元的定金。周末,两人心里感觉车不是特别满意,不知道能不能取消合同呢?还有我们的定金能要回来吗?希望车友们给些建议!新手买车,实在有点懵懂!

合同能不能取消要看合同约定,定金能不能拿回来要看合同约定,维修费2500也要看合同约定。
 
既然决定要买, 就不让他们修了吧, 防锈也可以不要他们的, 太贵,

做人做事都要responsible, 既然签了合同就应履行,事后反悔不太好。

My sister-in-law bought a brand new Nissan Altima late June this year. Her anti-rust job (at Nissan dealer) was much less than 1200 CAD. Life time free touch up each year and it is transferrable, i.e. if you sell the car to another person, new owner still enjoys this service.

You can cancel this job and find other place like "Ottawasun" listed above.

As for bumper, "塑料碰了一点" 2500?? That is 10 % of the car cost already! The moment you drive your car leaving parking lot of dealer, your car immediately becomes used car and it loses 10 % already. Fix that "一点" won't add 2500 ("维修费是$998" this makes sense) to your car when you sell it. I think dealer just replace a new plastic bumper, a simple and easy job to them but very costly to you.

BTW, is that car a DEMO car?
I am wondering dealer will consider that FIXED car as new or used!

Cancel anti-rust and that plastic job. You save nearly 2200 (in case you cannot cancel the agreement).

谢谢您的回复,我们现在也怀疑买的是demo car,因为它的公里数已经是374公里,已经超出100km好多了,估计是经常被人试车。汽车的初始价格是23356(税前),完全和新车的价格是一样的,这点超不能忍!

"374公里" is unacceptable.
A demo car is considered as USED car. Dealer is the first owner.
You should report this to FORD (not dealer).

Since I am not car sales person, but like to read car related articles (e.g. wheels.ca), maybe other CFC members can give you better advise on this.

** In case they force you to take the car, make sure the mileage is written on the sales contract. Then you can you it in future to prove that car is a used/demo car.
