It seems that this 12-week long summer rally, which pushed the S&P500 by more than 10%, may have already priced in the anticipated injection of monetary stimulus from either the US Fed Reserve or the ECB. Maybe it is even more priced in. Now the problem is not whether a stimulus will be implemented, but the scale and timing of the stimulus.
This “most-hated” summer rally wasn’t because of earnings, revenues or guidance. It was full of speculations regarding the central bank’s next move.
