The Ontario Provincial Police’s Ottawa detachment issued 357 charges over the Labour Day long weekend for a range of traffic offences. Officers issued 222 charges for speeding, 25 charges for not wearing a seatbelt, four counts of racing, 28 charges for distracted driving and 59 for other Highway Traffic Act violations.
