Firefighters fought three small blazes across the city Monday night and in the early hours of Tuesday. The first was at 4 Waterford Way off Prince of Wales Drive near Hunt Club Road. Crews were called at 10:11 p.m. to extinguish a barbecue fire that caused $6,000 in damage after flames consumed the backyard deck. Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it caused further damage.
