Sandy Hill group aims to spread word among students about good behaviour

OTTAWA — Students streamed east off the University of Ottawa campus late Thursday afternoon. Most carried a couple of books or a knapsack. More than a few, though, bore booze for evening festivities — bags with liquor and mixers, six-packs, the odd 24. Those were the people who have the attention of a platoon of volunteers who are fanning out across Sandy Hill. The volunteers were going to very gently tell them about the neighbourhood.
