First pieces of pipe arrive for Orléans sinkhole repairs

The first pieces of replacement pipe to fix the Highway 174 sinkhole arrived in Ottawa Friday morning and the city hopes to reopen highway’s eastbound lanes in about 10 days. The first two sections of concrete sewer pipe arrived by truck early in the morning. They are to be followed by 16 other pieces that the city expects to be made in the coming days.
