OTTAWA — Farmers hurt by the drought this summer are to receive a measure of relief from the city. Council approved Wednesday an amended grant program through which eligible farmers are to have the due date for final 2012 property taxes pushed back about five months, and are allowed to pay 2013 interim taxes about a month later than scheduled.
