Carleton gets first glimpse of plans for Cardinal-designed aboriginal centre

OTTAWA — Douglas Cardinal, one of Canada’s best-known architects, will design a new interior space for the aboriginal students’ centre at Carleton University. The $125,000 centre will have about 1,900 square feet on the ground floor of Paterson Hall, overlooking the quad. Renovations are expected to be completed in January 2013.
