OTTAWA — Patients needing extra help to recover after surgery could feel the squeeze as The Ottawa Hospital closes beds and cuts staff. Six short-term rehabilitation beds have been closed, reducing to 22 the total number of beds dedicated to patients needing post-surgical therapy to help them to get back on their feet.
