Dear International Students
The Canadian ‘Thanksgiving Holiday’ will be the second weekend of October.
Join us for a Thanksgiving Party on
Saturday the 6th of October 3:00 to 8:30PM
and learn about the origin and the Canadian traditions associated with this national Holiday.
Pickup will be
At the University of Ottawa, on the lower level of the University centre,
By the Alumni Auditorium at 3:00 PM
Or
At Carleton University, inside the front door of the Minto Building
At 3:00PM
If you live near 1249 Prince of Wales Drive you can come directly to Rideauview Bible Chapel for 3:30PM. We will meet in the basement. Enter by the door off of the parking lot.
Please e-mail Bev at FAW@primus.ca if you plan to come and state if you will go directly to the Chapel or will be at one of the pickup spots.
Come and bring your friends for FUN, FOOD and making new FRIENDS
There will be a short message to explain the meaning of this religious holiday, and a few Christian songs to express ‘thankfulness’.
Cost for the day will be 5:00$
This event is sponsored by Friends Around the World in association with ‘International Student ministries Canada’
We are a Christian group offering friendship to International Students of all nationalities and faiths.
