Few leads in Barrhaven window shooting

OTTAWA — The police investigation into the single shot fired in Barrhaven Saturday night has yielded a person of interest, but no suspects and no reliable witnesses. There were between eight and 10 people, including three children in the Springton Crescent home when a single bullet ripped through the front window of the house, said Ken Bryden of the police guns and gangs unit. No one was injured. Despite media reports, Bryden said it was not known whether the shot was random or targeted.
