今天保险公司要我提供NOB， 什么是NOB？

我上个月买车， 大约一个月以后， 保险公司打电话给我让我提供NOB号码，还要我去照相， 是怎么回事呢？

If you bought a used car and just bought insurance for it, the insurance company generally will ask you to have your car checked by a local Check Point service provider. The purpose for this is to record the appearance and situations of your car as being insured. The service provider will take photos for your car from different angles and describe situations of your car, then send all info back to the insurance company. Most likely, the checking service is paid by the insurance company.

I don't know the "NOB". Don't worry at all.

楼主，TEDDY说的就是那个NOB。NOB是INSURANCE INSPECTION REPORT 上的一个号。这个INSURANCE INSPECTION REPORT 在你买了旧车之后要在半个月之内（好象是）到保险公司指定的车行去完成。你可以给保险公司或BROKER打电话确认到哪里去做。非常简单，保险公司只是要确认你自己说的和车的本身情况是一致的。
