A 22-year-old man who left three girls orphaned after crashing into their parents while driving dangerously through downtown Ottawa in 2010 was sentenced to 18 months on Thursday. Counting credit for time served, Simon Banke will serve 13 months in jail and lose his licence for four years after his release.
