No cuts planned to OC Transpo service, officials say

There are no plans to introduce OC Transpo service cuts in this fall’s 2013 draft budget, according to transit services general manager John Manconi and Councillor Diane Deans, chair of the city’s transit commission. “I have no intention of considering service cuts,” Deans told reporters Thursday, noting that OC Transpo made several route cuts and changes that took effect early last September under a $20 million “network optimization.”
