The Children’s Aid Society has temporary custody of Annie Pootoogook’s newborn girl, says the Inuit artist’s boyfriend. William Watt says he and Pootoogook, who gave birth to the premature child in a washroom of a Lowertown shelter Sept. 21, met with a CAS worker this week.
