On Friday, Adamo Papa hired a robot to punch tiny holes into his scalp. He sat with his face down in a cradle at the Rahal Hair Transplant Institute in Ottawa as a one-millimetre punch lifted follicles from a grid of hair on the back of his freshly buzz-cut head.
