OTTAWA — Hundreds of OC Transpo employees are receiving unanticipated health and safety training this year after a review found they didn’t meet requirements. The training deals with issues such as the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). It’s for 500 to 600 mechanics, technicians, attendants who take buses to nightly inspections, and facility staff, said transit services general manager John Manconi.
